Pete Townsend is an early-stage investor, advisor, and long-time operator at the intersection of crypto, fintech, AI, and onchain finance. After nearly two decades in global financial services with BNP Paribas and Fidelity, he pivoted hard into crypto and venture, investing in and mentoring founders across Europe, the US and Asia.

He led the Techstars Web3 Accelerator, reviewing thousands of pitches and helping dozens of founders sharpen their strategy, narrative, and execution. Today, Pete runs Norio Ventures, a solo GP fund backing “unstoppable founders” building the next generation of programmable financial infrastructure.
